I went to Shawnlin yesterday for a skin barrier repair treatment and added a carboxy treatment. Shawnlin was very easy to talk to, very friendly, and provided excellent service. Her office is clean and has a relaxing vibe.

I was searching for a place that does Korean skincare treatments. I use tretinoin 3x a week and my skin was feeling dehydrated and tight. I also came in with a sore pimple on my left cheek as well as acne scarring on my right cheek. The next day, my skin didn’t have a tight feeling and the pimple is flat and no longer sore. Today, I honestly feel my scar got better, and I’m sure with continued treatments, it will fade more.

This was my first time getting nano needling and it was pretty painless. The carboxy treatment was fun. It does have a little kick and it was really cool to hear the sizzling sounds. My skin was glowing after Shawnlin did her magic.

My facial was very relaxing that I caught myself falling asleep a few times. I will definitely come back next month for a nano needling and carboxy combo facial.
